Raglan Shire Medieval Ball 2015

One of the highlights of September's Medieval Fest in Raglan Shire is the medieval ball. I've been coming to these for years now. Lady Fluffytail has to make an appearance, you know?

It's always nice seeing so many tinies there!
And Zayn was DJing for us from on the Carrot Throne! Nom!

Lupus Awareness Fair

My friend Cleopatra Kellman is the head soror of the inworld sorority Sigma Upsilon Nu. They are holding their 5th Annual Lupus Awareness Fair all of this month with lots of events such as tonight's Carnival-themed party. In RL my husband and his mother have lupus so this is a cause that is near and dear to me...

That is Cleopatra on the right. I loved their beautiful costumes. Look up "Lupus" in SL Events and you can find more info...
Please go to http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Zen/118/158/22 to check it out!

Walpurgisnacht in Steelhead 2010

It was time for the annual Walpurgisnacht celebrations in the Steamlands, where we celebrate it with bonfires and come out as assorted otherworldly (or infernal) types. This is my third year attending these celebrations and this year in Steelhead, Tensai built a rather fantastic set for it...
As I have done every year since the first one, I danced with Lunar. At least Linus did not end up in the fire again like last year!

Tiny Fun at the Raglan Shire Medieval Festival

I love the Raglan Medieval Festival. Now in its third year, it is a celebration of all things tiny and medieval and fun. There was much fainting, waving of foam fingers and tossing of waffles onstage during a performance from Raglan's very own cover rock band, the Fuzznutz...
Live musician Gina Stella then performed for us, with Anek Fuchs keeping her company onstage. Her performance of "Wafflelujah" really brought down the house...Tinies were in the stocks. Freeing them helped go towards an animal charity...
We all lined up at soothsayer Clowey Greenwood's tent, nervously awaiting our turn...I held out my paw and was told that I needed to write more so that others could read my work, and that although being a fluffytail was my true self, I struggled with wanting to be biggie. I was given a "Don't Be A Biggie-Sicle" to combat that and sent on my way...

Opening Celebration of Steelhead Shanghai Sim

I would like to invite you all to join the citizens of Steelhead for the official opening celebration of their latest sim, Steelhead Shanghai! The architecture and narrow, mysterious streets of this Steampunk-meets-Asia sim are fantastic and a must-see.

WHEN: 7 - 9 PM SLT

Teal's Rez Day Party

My friend, artist and Lady Tigress Teal Freenote, celebrated her 2nd Rez Day in Raglan Shire yesterday. As you can see, there was a huge turnout of tinies and no one quite parties like we do!

Midsummer Grand Tour: Al-Andalus

Given all of the stability problems this weekend, Phin and I genuinely thought we'd be kicked out at 10:30 SLT, but when we found ourselves still inworld, we thought we'd take our chances and head on over to the Al-Andalus stop of the Grand Tour RFL benefit dances that went throughout the historic sims. I think it's safe to say we danced a pretty sulty tango...

Vegas Night in Steelhead

Steelhead's party theme tonight was Vegas...a place that I love! I put on my spangles, feathers and back piece and headed on over...
We even had a flying Elvis...You know what they say: "Whatever happens in Steelhead, stays in Steelhead!" Ooo...buffet!

It's Not Easy Being Green

I have a great time finding costumes for Steelhead's Friday themed parties. Tonight's was Oz, so I thought I'd go as Elphaba/Wicked Witch of the West...Hmm...can brooms be used as a fighting technique? Just wondering...

Steelhead Bunny Hop Dance

Steelhead has always been a place where wackiness and the 19th c. seem to coexist just fine. Our dances are no exception, with the citizens always thinking of fun costumes. Tonight was the Bunny Hop, as it's Easter on Sunday. I wish I had a pic of Hotspur's plucked chicken AV and folks riverdancing with peeps. Pure comedy. I am a tiny black bunny raising hell on a regular basis there, so I thought I'd wear my Kani AV instead...

New Taloo: Mardi Gras Comes to a Close

Salut chers! I had managed to make it to big dance celebrating the end of Mardi Gras in New Taloo tonight. Wasn't able to make the parade earlier due to my attending the inauguration of the new mayor in New Babbage. Cato Quan asked me if I'd like to do a little foxtrotting with him...Now you know I'm not turning down a dance! Hopefully he won't try to shoot my rabbit again...

Steelhead Valentine's Day...Massacre

Only in Steelhead would a Valentine's Day party have a massacre theme, and we turned out with tommy guns and flapper glad rags to celebrate it...Some unfortunate folks weren't able to celebrate though...

Spam Squirrel

Went to Steelhead's Friday luau themed party as a mystery ingredient!

New Taloo: Tattler Opening Party

Salut chers! Tonight I headed over to New Taloo Algiers to attend the opening of the Tattler, New Toulouse's newspaper...
I wandered through the sim for a moment, as I hadn't visited in a while...And then found my way to Le Chat Gris, where we danced until the sun came up!

The Grand Tour

Although I get around the Grid, you know that my home base is in the historic sims of SL. In light of the whole OS hoopla, a lot of them were seriously affected by it and so this weekend I spent a lot of time participating in the Grand Tour. Organized by Fogwoman Gray of Caledon and with organizers at the participating sims, balls and dances were held the entire weekend going from location to location. Congrats to them on a job well done. Participating sims were Colonia Nova, Orcadia, New Toulouse, Victoriana, Neufriedstadt, Winterfell, Caledon, New Babbage, Steeltopia, Al Andalus, Isles of Fatima, Wunderbar, Antiquity and Steelhead. If you have never visited these place, go...the time is now.

If you want to read my posts about my bouncing from place to place you can read them HERE.

Dancing at Fibber's

GoSpeed Racer was DJing at Fibber's in Dublin so Phin and I thought we'd stop through. It's been a long time since I've been here and the place has been renovated...I had a good time getting my groove on.

Secret Agent Elle

In honor of "Quantum of Solace" opening, tonight was Bond Night in Steelhead. I have always loved James Bond movies so I could not resist. I thought I'd go as Halle Berry's "Jinx" character from "Die Another Day"...There was a really good turnout and we all had a great time...I had to duck sometimes as there were sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads...Um, speaking of lasers...I changed into my tux and couldn't resist...

Dia's Partnering Party

Dia and Dewitt threw their partnering party at their place in the Wasteslands tonight. They had three tiny party crashers from Germany who stuck around and seemed to have a great time... There was a really great turn out of their friends...
I couldn't help but take this pic of Zeroyel and a friend who was a budgie at the time. Sorry I don't remember her name! I was teasing Zero about hogging the spanakopita Greek yummy goodness that had been set out. Great fun and congrats!

Cutest Thing EVAH...A Tinies Wedding!

I had the pleasure of attending a wedding in Raglan today! Legolas Caewlin and Blodwynna Smalls are a couple in RL who will be getting married next month...They decided to share the fun and their joy by inviting the tiny community to a medieval-style ceremony in Raglan!
The ceremony was so sweet and here they are with their wedding cake!
At the reception, we tinies got our groove on with medieval dances made just for the occasion by Peaches and Apollo! The tiny community is fun-loving and accepting of tinies (and biggies) of all shapes and species! I had a really good time. Thanks for sharing this with us Legolas and Blodwynna!
