Stars and Monsters and Quiet

I Heart Madcow. He is always so much fun to talk to. We were discussing art and astronomy and how beautiful the universe is and how it inspires our work. I gave him a piece of my RL "Starbirth" art series and he gave me a "Solar Dragon" AV as an early birthday present (it's this Saturday). He had created it for himself based upon a piece at his NMC installation, "Ars Simulacra." You can see a shot of the original sculpture here, although photos just don't do justice to how beautiful it is...Kheph is the creator of the Lovecraft god-monsters at October Country and invited me to a surprise birthday party thrown for Taliesin Morgath. Of course we showed up as the Deep One and me, as a Mi-Go. Another partygoer came as an Elder Thing. Seeing us dance was pure comedy. Only inworld...
I ended the evening with Lunar, talking at the SL Botanical Gardens. That's a quiet place I hadn't been to in a long time...

Isle of Wyrms

The first friend I made in Caledon is a dragon and my RL sister enjoyed being one (when she wasn't burning down Vista), so I can't believe it took me this long to visit the Isle of Wyrms! I crashed not too long after I got there but took pictures in the Cathedral...Look at that ceiling! I will have to return again to see more!

U-G-L-Y, You Ain't Got No Alibi...

That was the greeting I got as soon as I logged in today. When everything rezzed around me and I stood there looking through the glass of my bedroom wall, I could see a huge green and red dragon sitting outside on my lawn...burning up stuff...AGAIN.

"C'mon out! And bring your little bunny Lag!," she said. "I need a snack and I'm hunnnnngry!"

Baube got a new dragon AV (courtesy of her big sis). How did she repay me? By stomping on me as a butterfly.

Butterfly vs. Dragon...that does seem pretty unfair, although I was doing a lot of trash talking about how she couldn't blow fire.

But as you can see...she figured it out.

Baube Craziness and Dragons!

Tonight was a pretty crazy day for me in SL...lots to do and see.

I had a chance to hang out with my l'il sis Baube, which has been a treat lately as her computer's on the blink. As you can see, she was surrounded by blue fire today. I dodged toilet paper rolls as she and her friend Brene tossed them at one another. He then pulled out a HUGE gun and "Aaaaiggh!" she was off screaming as he chased her with it.Another of her friends, Dana, appeared--as a bone dragon--dripping blood and everything. I always have fun with Baube. You never quite know what will happen next.
Speaking of dragons, Dominic came by Vista del Mar to show me his new sculptie dragon AV. I think he enjoys being able to stretch out there. He looked so cool that I wanted to reach out and touch him or something.
