YAY! A New Shop in Raglan!!!

Look at the smile on my little squirrel face. Why? I got my new shop up and running in the new Raglan Shire tree city! It's so pretty there, with lots of fun, quirky little touches...
I feel so lucky and love the spot that they gave me next to the lift. I got to work right away putting everything up!

I even have a balcony!
It has a great view of Heron Shire. I can even see the Great Tree Steve!

"The Cats" Building a New Raglan!

I am so excited! We Raglan merchants will be allowed back on the new Raglan Shire sim soon. In the meantime, I went up to the build to take a look around and ran into Pan. This is my new shop in the "Birdhouse" section. I LOVE IT!
Along with head builder Nil (left) and a crew of tinies known simply as "The Cats," they have created a spanking brand new Raglan Shire tree city of platforms with Tudor-style shops and buildings...
Pan was working on the bucket lift next to my shop and had Nil and me to ride on it and test it out with her. SO much faster than the old acorns!

Raglan Shire Medieval Ball 2015

One of the highlights of September's Medieval Fest in Raglan Shire is the medieval ball. I've been coming to these for years now. Lady Fluffytail has to make an appearance, you know?

It's always nice seeing so many tinies there!
And Zayn was DJing for us from on the Carrot Throne! Nom!

SL12B: SL's Birthday Bash

I thought I would explore SL12B--SL's 12th birthday community celebration--spread out over 15 sims. This year's theme is "What Dreams May Come" and I thought Raglan's parcel was pretty appropriate...
I even managed to get in a nap...
The pretty amazing stage at the SL Astonish sim...
 And the main welcome area...
Of course, I found a bunneh...
 And the CAKE STAGE!
I've always enjoyed the SLB celebrations for the interesting things that I come across.

Raglan Tiny Town Hall Meeting

Zayn called upon us tinies to come to one of two town meetings over the weekend to tell us all about upcoming changes. He echoed a lot of I have talked about in terms of inworld communities: the need for participation, the overall shrinking of SL and its effect on renters and merchants.
He also talked about upcoming changes for Raglan itself, which I can promise you are pretty darn exciting. Let's just say that we got to see a model of the Raglan sim redesign. We are taking to the trees!!!

Raglan Shire ArtWalk!

The Raglan Shire ArtWalk is underway for the whole month of May. Covering multiple sims, you will find fantastic artwork--both 2D and 3D--throughout! karmagirl avro (SQUABBIT!) did a great job as the main coordinator and there are lots of events going on for the whole month. You can take a ride on the Hedgiepillar, which you can hop on and take an almost half-hour ride throughout the ArtWalk...

You can find some of my pieces there too! Here I am cruising by my work on a Hedgiepillar with Dizzy...

Tiny Poetry Slam: Animals

Went to the tiny poetry slam on Monday. Topic was "Animals." Here was my poem, called "In Raglan":

All of us critters
Scampering around
Up in Steve
Down on the ground
Some on 2 legs
Some on 4
Where are the waffles?
Give us more!

Easter Parade

Thought I'd pop through Raglan and join my fellow tinies in an Easter parade through the sim. There was a bounce castle set out. Oh...my...Glob, too much fun!

On Being A Tiny in SL

Here I am all dressed up for Raglan's Hanami Festival that was held all this month. Cherry blossoms everywhere! The Commons was transformed. So pretty!

Recently Lunar told me "You are so content as a tiny." I was like "How could I not be?"

I have been a tiny in SL since 2007. I spend just as much time in tiny form as I do humanoid. One of the reasons is the tiny community itself. Raglan is not only one of the happiest places in SL, but consists of one of its strongest, most creative communities. It might be filled with small critters, but we get things DONE. It is strong. It is vibrant. It is successful. It is fun. And it is filled with active citizens. I am proud to consider myself one of them.

All of any size (or species) are welcome to join the fun, but Raglan definitely protects its creatives and the interests of the sims itself. Tinycentric, you might say, but it works. It is a community that supports itself and its citizens. At a time when I am seeing so many communities closing and dwindling, Raglan continues to engage and be engaging.

I love you Raglan Shire and I love being a tiny. Wafflelujah!

Tiny Poetry Slam in Raglan: "Cold"

Today I went to the Tiny Poetry Slam at Stevebucks in The Great Tree Steve. I love Steve. Steve is an awesome humongulous tree. Anyway, I wrote a poem called "Snowfall" as the theme was "Cold."

I've always written poetry, but never read them before. It was really well-received. I was so tickled! It was fun and I'm looking forward to going again.

Happy Wootmas!

OK, so we tinies love to carol and when the call goes out, we grab our carol books and go! Today we brought some Wootmas cheer to the sim of Fallen Gods (one of my fave places for fantasy skins) and had a great time performing for the biggies there! And of course we riverdanced afterwards!
I later got multiple encores when I sang from the Raglan carol book at the Steelhead Holiday event at the library. It was a lot of fun and I'm so glad everyone enjoyed it!

Gone Caroling...

I thought I'd hang out with my fellow tinies and joined the Tiny Raglan Carolers for an event at Frostburg State U. The biggies enjoyed our performance a lot...
And so did the folks at the AviChoice sim. I know that I had a lot of fun! Happy Wootmas!

Raglan's Got Talent 2014!

Like the Spooktacular and the Medieval Festival, the Raglan Talent Show is one of the yearly highlights of the Raglan Shire events and always has a great turnout!

Caleb donned a tutu and did tricks on a barrel! Don't singe your fur!
Daisy read us one of her stories...

I laughed so hard from Fullauto's rendition of William Shatner's "Rocket Man". SO FUNNY!
Oh mah Glob...for years DangerCat (Etheria) has thrilled us with her daredevil antics. So much tiny bravery. Her poor assistant Panacea usually has to help her out when things go a little...awry...
Gracie Saint Possum performed for us...
And then there was the grand finale from Songbird, Flea and Co. You should see a woolly mammoth dance...It was AWESOME.
I love the Raglan Talent Show. Sometimes I see folks that I haven't seen in a long time. TOO much fun!

Tossin' Cabers in Raglan Shire!

There is always something fun going on in Raglan. I was center right square on "Tinywood Squares"...
...But what I had been practicing for was the caber toss. All those years of doing it in Caledon paid off, although as a tiny those cabers looked bigger than ever...
...But I won 1st place!! My fellow contestants Bloodsong Termagant (rt, 2nd place) and Ami Temura (left, 3rd place) did a great job too!

Groovy Times at Raglan's Wootstock!

Aww YEAH...it's the grooviest time of year in Raglan Shire: WOOTSTOCK!
Here's Songbird, who would perform...

Chance seemed to be enjoying the vibes...
 And so was Fullauto...
RayRay was psychedelictastic...
Oh yeah, and there I am. Come on out to Raglan Shire! Biggies welcome! Peace, love and waffles, man!

Elle in InWorldz: Raglan Shire!!

OhmyGlob! I found Raglan Shire in InWorldz! w00tw00t!! Extrovirtual has a branch there for tiny avatars, so of course, I was able to be my black bunneh self. Bought a Romani outfit from Teal. There are shops and the Museum and Welcome Center and lots to see, but the most incredible thing about it is...the Great Tree!!!! Grown from a seed of the Great Tree Steve in SL, InWorldz's Great Tree makes Steve look like a sapling. I couldn't even fit it into a pic. It is HUMONGULOUS.

At the Artwalk

While roaming the ArtWalk, I came across these great sepia-toned photos by Lorimae Undercroft. Look! The Steelhead Shanghai pavilion!

Bunnying Down

Extrovirtual, which famously specializes in all things tiny, recently built a new shopping area open to other tiny creators in their sim (which is part of the Raglan sims). Here I am setting up my little E.Laval Tinies cart as Noramyr--one of Extrovirtual's founders and creators--helps...
Shady Fox (on the left) told me that Noramyr was super-tired after all of the building she had been doing to create it...And I got Lunar to bunneh down and come with me to the ArtWalk! OK, I love that artist's belt he has on...
