What started out with Lunar on the lookout for interesting campy junk cheesiness for his new Linden home (or, as he named the land, his "stupid F'ing Linden home"), turned into us finding a "Truth or Dare" game that was so much fun we couldn't stop playing!
SLeezyWood is still hilarious and creative as hell. Go visit if you haven't before.
It seems Lunar and Linus Lacombe were roaming the waters too. I shook my fist in the air as Lunar's "Duck of Destruction" shot me down more times than I was comfortable with and once Linus figured it out, oh boy...it was FUN. Move your duck over Cottontop! MOVE IT!

If you have never met her it's a shame, as her personality could best be described as "ebullient." I love her perky bubbliness. After a great chat about creating and how she has been prepping for a baked goods themed show, she gifted me with an exclusive pair of shoes--the super-cute "Antidepressant Heels." Look at the little yummies all over it!

We were looking for RP sims or forests, whichever we found first. We were surprised at how many others there are out there and it's ripe for RP inworld. While in Chakryn Forest, we found a sleeping odalisque that was a marvel of sculpted prims...

I had a very nice time chatting with Lunar and fellow Steelhead resident, his friend Redsonja Congrejo. I teased him that I was shocked he had furniture for once.
Lunar had just put down the new train station in Steelhead, based upon this one, so I went over to check it out...
While inside, he asked me "Did you just see a big robot go by?" I said "This is SL. Anything is possible." But sure enough, the large robot peered into the Steelbucks coffee shop in Harborside and continued to explore the town...
Lunar asked me to join him on a quick errand. We both looked down at a deer sprawled out on the ground in Port Harbor. We figured it strayed from someone's property and he returned it to its owner to graze some more. I joked that the evil tiny kitty next door would've been eating venison for days if she found it first...
As we sat on the wall talking in Steeltopia, I joked with Lunar that I could "accidentally" knock him backwards into the bay. He said that if that happened he would be taking me with him. The suspicious look on his face is priceless. After all, tiny ferret me did bite the emperor of Steeltopia earlier.
The spanking brand new "Asian Steampunk"-inspired sim of Steelhead Shanghai landed while I was away. It is still in the terraforming and construction phase. I love when sims are fresh out of the LL oven like this. It's so extremely interesting to me to see how they evolve and what builds end up there. My cry of "LUUUUNAAAAR!!!!" could probably be heard all over the sim--if everyone wasn't fleeing from the rolling restarts going on throughout the Grid:
Lunar thought he would try being a human, which means no ears or moon marking, average height, and *gasp* dark hair. "Uncomfortable" is how he described it. I'm a shapeshifter, so I constantly change and it's no big deal for me. I believe he is trying to prove a point of sorts. For him, it is a bit radical to look as he does.
Lunar has been making changes to the beautiful steampunk port sim of Steelhead Port Harbor. He created a great floating runway for an the upcoming tinies dogfight in conjunction with the "Summer of Flight" aviation exhibit at the Steelhead Public Library organized by Miss Riven Homewood and Mr Nichus Bermann. Planes of all eras from the collection of Hotspur O'Toole and myself are out on display at the Hotel & Ballroom in Steelhead Capital City.
The blocks spell out the word "aishiteru", which means "I love you"...
And you should have known the steelhead fishies would be there!

Sometimes we get new visitors to Steelhead at our events, and tonight a new resident to SL visited us. She told us we were the first folks to be so nice to her and we all gave her pointers about adjusting to life inworld. She stayed the rest of the time and told us she had a great time. I wish her good luck in her experiences in here. Sometimes it is finding nice folks and that kind first impression can set the stage for our lives in SL to come.
And like last year I had a great time dancing with and talking to Lunar. He is one of my truly best friends in SL now thanks to last year's dance. If anything, I was just trying not to accidentally gore him with my horns...
