New Toulouse Tattler Mugshots

Salut chers! Mr Cato Q took these hilarious mugshots of some of us New Talooers for the New Toulouse Tattler Ning. All I can say is that I think he got my good side at least. As for my speakeasy? What speakeasy? *looks around and grins*

Bone Sewer Mama Cree

Salut chers! I have continued to maintain my little shotgun house and cemetery tomb in Taloo because I still believed it was a beautiful unique community that I still wanted to be a part of somehow. I know that I have not been there as much as I used to as so many of my close circle of friends had left. As a community, it is undergoing a bit of change and transition itself as Mama Cree is turning it over to Gabi (Gabrielle Riel). It should be interesting to see what she does with it. I think I should stop in more often. It was nice talking to Mama Cree the other night and I'd like to thank her for creating a lovely community. She said she'd like to go back to focusing more on building and creating as that's what she loves.

Oh, here's a hint for y'all...I've always had a speakeasy there that's actually open to everyone if they have their Gens de New Toulouse tag on and can find it. Enjoy.

New Taloo: Piano Sirens & Conversation

Salut chers! Phin's club is a nice hangout and you can always get into a great conversation there. Or lounge seductively on top of the piano like Miss Vee here...You know I understand the power of the piano. What I'm impressed by is that she's lying of opposite way of what I'm used to doing!!Me, Dia and Miss Vee sat on the stage and chatted for a while. I'm tellin' ya, sometimes I will dance by myself if the mood strikes me, ya know?

New Taloo: New Taloo Open to the Public

Salut chers! Thought I'd hop into my Model T and go around the town today. Ran into a little snag called the curb...Gryff placed his trademark octopus, weathered after all these years, on the top of the new Gallery...
I offered him a ride and ran into another snag--the streetcar...
After he insulted my driving I put him out and ran him over. Talk about my drivin', will ya? A bunch of us ended up talking in front of the Gallery. This is going to be an exciting place!
The Guvnah of Caledon and a few other notable Caledonians stopped through and gathered in Miss Pidgeon and Miss Ayres' gallery to congratulate Mama Cree upon officially opening New Taloo to the public...

23 Skidoo at Flashman's!

I got a flapper dress as a gift, which meant an excuse to wear my bob and go exploring out in the world. I ended up at Flashman's 1920s bar. From the dances and poseballs available, I am sure that when folks are there, it's a busy, fun, rowdy place! I hope to visit again when it's like that. Here I am looking very Louise Brooks...
